A heavy vehicle stuck in a field, in mud or half in a ditch is not easy to get out. A tractor or second truck is often not strong enough, and the risk of extra damage is high.
BCF Mobiliteit has recovery trucks fitted with heavy winches. We use them to pull trucks, agricultural machinery and other heavy equipment free in a controlled way. Our truck stays on firm ground while the winch cable pulls the vehicle towards it.

After a recovery, a heavy vehicle often still needs to go to a garage, dealer or storage facility. With our car transporters and low-loaders we safely move trucks, tractor units, chassis and buses to their destination.
We drive throughout the Netherlands and also collect trucks from abroad. Is your truck damaged in Germany, Belgium or further away? We arrange the repatriation to the Netherlands.
Costs
What does heavy recovery cost?
The cost of heavy recovery depends on the situation. A truck broken down at the roadside is a different job from a fully loaded combination lying in a ditch. That is why we do not work with one fixed price, but give you an estimate in advance.
After an accident, recovery is often handled through the insurance. We then coordinate with your insurer or assistance company. For transport companies and dealers we are happy to make fixed arrangements.
The price depends on things like:
- The type and weight of the vehicle
- The location and situation, for example on the motorway or in a field
- The equipment needed, such as a crane, winch or low-loader
- The time we spend on site
- The distance to the destination
- Extra measures, such as traffic control or storage
